Make Innovation Work 2012
INASCO HELLAS was awarded the 1st position in the international innovation competition MIW (Make Innovation Work) of the prestigious Hellenic-American chamber of commerce, for its submitted business proposal, in the thematic area of transport and shipping. INASCO was also awarded the 2nd place in the overall ranking for the entire competition.
The company’s business proposal was one out of a total of 273 competing business proposals. Proposals referred to business activities in various key sectors of economic activity (green energy, transport, marine, etc.) and were all evaluated against criteria such as, their innovation, their applicability, their economic feasibility, their sustainability and the business growth that their implementation would create.
INASCO was awarded for its novel concept, of monitoring and optimizing the production of high performance carbon fiber composite parts inside autoclaves, by developing further the DiAMon Plus™ cure and flow monitoring prototype.
The award ceremony was held on the 20th of March 2012, at the Hotel Grande Bretagne in the historic center of Athens, with the presence of the Hellenic Minister of Development, the Committee of Innovation and Education, officials from the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, distinguished members of the Academic Community, entrepreneurs, bankers and venture capitalists, distinguished Greek and in International business men and women and journalists from the foreign press.
